Using Preview

Using the preview is awesome and fits my needs. My workflow so far is I upload a video, create the transcript and allow the user to either give me a preview of either 15 or 30 seconds. I was using the auto generated transcript to show subtitles outside the video. However since the preview is a shortened version of the original video I no longer have a sync'd version of the transcript. Obviously I can generate a new transcript to coincide with the preview however I was hoping that there was an easier way.

    Hi @jestersden,

    There are two ways to generate the transcript. First is by API which you are already using.

    The second is by using an Upload Preset. You will have to configure the preset to use raw convert: google speech under the preset's Media Analysis and AI.

    You can use this preset on upload to generate the transcript without calling the API.

    Using the Beta Upload Presets (btw freaking game changer) looks like not only can I do auto transcriptions but also eagerly create my previews so I don't have to build in a way to pre-create these before the user can interact with them. Hopefully I did it correctly by just putting a space between them (wasn't sure if a space or comma was necessary)
