[Wordpress] Understanding storage limits

Hello everyone,

I have a doubt about the storage for the free plan.
On the website I read that the following is included monthly:

25k Monthly Transformations or
25GB Managed Storage or
25GB Monthly Net Viewing Bandwidth

But on the Wordpress plugin dashboard I have these numbers:

Does the plugin itself have any further limitation or am I missing something?
Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi @fabrizioiaco ,

The WordPress plugin dashboard reflects your overall Cloudinary account usage, not just what the plugin itself consumes. This includes transformations, storage, and bandwidth used across all platforms where your Cloudinary assets are accessed.

Could you clarify your question further? For example:

    • Are you seeing unexpected usage numbers in the dashboard?
    • Are you concerned about whether the plugin itself adds limitations?
    • Is there a specific discrepancy you'd like us to investigate?

I’d be happy to assist further once I have more details!

    Best Regards,

    Wissam

    Hello @Wissam

    thanks for your reply.
I just don't understand if the values in the dashboard are correct.

The free plan details on the website talk about 25GB/25K but the dashboard, as showing above, is reporting 1.3GB for the storage, 3.8k transformations and 312MB of bandwidth.
They are not matching, aren't they?

    Thanks.

    Hi @fabrizioiaco ,

The numbers you're seeing on the WordPress dashboard indicate the credits consumed in your Cloudinary account, rather than the overall plan credits.

To view your consumed credits in detail, please visit the dashboard in the Cloudinary console.

For more information about Cloudinary credits, you can refer to the following article:

    https://cloudinary.com/documentation/developer_onboarding_faq_credits

Please review it and let me know if you have any questions.

    Best Regards,

    Wissam

    Hello @Wissam

    I understand, thanks!
However, a little feedback on this: it is a bit confusing.
Because the plugin dashboard is showing "used" values and "available" values, at first sight the "available" ones are exepected to match those on the Cloudinary account, isn't it?

Thanks a lot for the support

    Hi @fabrizioiaco,

Glad Wissam was able to assist here.

Regarding your feedback, I totally agree. This is still a work in progress to totally align the Cloudinary Dashboard with the WordPress one but we are facing some difficulties that we hope to tackle in the near future.

    Best,
