Get History of an asset

I am looking to obtain history of assets via API where I can show when it was created and when it was modified over time. The assets are being replaced via API so need to know when these are being replaced or how many times. Is that possible via API.

As far as accessing this information via API - yes we have some capabilities in that regard, listed here:

With this method, you can see what versions of an asset exist, which is currently in use, and when the different versions were created.

It doesn't look like this method will tell you exactly when a specific version was restored, or how many times - just what the versions are, when they were created, and which is currently in use.
